ABOUT CORDON FIRE STATION

       In an era where public safety and economic stability is one of the major problems, the BFP as always is in the bandwagon for promoting a safe and progressive society in the context of fire protection, emergency medical and rescue services, and as well as fire code fee collection. The BFP Cordon is not one to be left behind in this endeavor.

 

         The Cordon Fire station was created on April 19, 2013. CFS is located at the gateway of the Province of Isabela; the Municipality of Cordon is now on its way to becoming a new investment hub of the Province and the Region because of its strategic location to the west, Nueva Vizcaya and to the south, Quirino and Aurora province.  Cordon has a total land area of 144.00 km2 (55.60 sq mi).

 

             At present, Cordon Fire Station has a total of eleven (11) uniformed personnel.

 

             With the number of personnel and equipment, Cordon Fire Station is currently serving (26) barangays with a population of 46,494 as of year 2012 census.
